Sal’s Taco Nights – Beginning as far back as 1997 after the Great Sierra Flood and occurring every other Thursday since, Sal’s Taco Truck pulls up to the Community Hall to serve up his unique blend of Mexican fare while YEA staffs a bar with beer, wine, and soda (free sodas for designated drivers!). Sal’s Nights have become an essential part of the El Portal cultural tradition with worldwide appeal. New to the area? Need new friends? Or just want to see old friends again? Come on out and join the throng! Many Sal’s Nights also feature local musicians on the indoor or outdoor stages.
